Jewish Family Services
"To provide vital, high-quality and innovative services to people in need, of all faiths, so they can overcome and lead fuller, more structured lives."
The Jewish Family Services (JFS) has a wide range of activities. They have emergency services for people who have been affected by the poor economy. Some of their services include a food pantry, counseling center, women’s forum, and chaplaincy. However, they have long-term programs such as the Family Stabilization Program, which is to help families learn about careful money management and stability.
There are many ways one can get involved with JFS. They need assistance with the food pantry, the Jewish hospice, and holiday meal delivery. Also, they have internships available for those who are interested in long-term service. If you are interested, contact Amanda Benedit at 407-644-7583 Ext. 227.
