"HOPE Helps, Inc's mission is to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida by equipping individuals and families to become self-sufficient through housing, outreach, prevention and education."
HOPE Helps provides aid to people experiencing homelessness and people who are struggling. HOPE has a thrift store that provides for people struggling to receive clothing items, school supplies, and furniture. In addition, they have a food pantry, where people come three days per week to receive nonperishable items. HOPE provides a resources center that has access to food stamps, Medicaid, and budgeting.
HOPE is always seeking people with handyman skills to perform maintenance and janitorial jobs. Also, you can get involved with the food pantry, thrift store, and with hospitality services. Fifty percent of HOPE’s current staff were once volunteers, to get involved call 407-366-3422.
